Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Joinery Cutting List Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cutting lists from approved shop drawings, coordinating with machine operators and carpenters, and ensuring materials are used efficiently and in alignment with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret shop drawings and material specifications to prepare precise cutting lists.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of cutting lists.
- Release cutting lists promptly to the production floor to meet project timelines.
- Optimize material usage to reduce waste and enhance cutting efficiency.
- Liaise with production teams to clarify any drawing or material discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Wood Technology, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- 3–6 years of proven experience in a joinery or woodworking production environment, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, joinery materials, hardware, and finishing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, material schedules, and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with bespoke/custom-made joinery works such as wardrobes, kitchens, doors, and furniture.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
