We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Joinery Foreman to lead our workshop and site team in delivering high-quality joinery works for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will supervise daily operations, ensure production quality, and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the joinery team in the workshop and/or project site
- Review shop drawings and allocate work accordingly
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications
- Monitor production schedules, material usage, and manpower efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other trades
- Conduct quality checks and ensure safety standards are followed
- Solve technical issues on-site and provide guidance to team members
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and progress
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in joinery or carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
- Strong knowledge of joinery fabrication, materials, tools, and finishing methods
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in residential and commercial interior fit-out projects preferred
