Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Static Designer to join our team for a prestigious project located at DAS Island, under the auspices of ADNOC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector, and proven experience in static equipment design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all design activities related to mechanical static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.).
- Review and ensure compliance with client specifications, industry codes (ASME, API), and project requirements.
- Interface with clients, engineering teams, and site personnel to resolve technical queries (TQs) and design issues.
- Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Conduct site visits for design verifications and issue resolutions.
- Mentor junior designers and ensure design quality and consistency.
Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a

- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of total industry experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with ADNOC projects.
- Certifications & Approvals:
- Must be ADNOC-approved as a Lead Static Designer.
- Mobility:
- Willing and flexible to mobilize to DAS Island for technical query (TQ) resolution and site visits as required.Preferred Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of industry design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PV Elite, Compress).
- In-depth understanding of ASME codes, API standards, and ADNOC specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
