KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
• Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Carry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers, and ensuring bin area is kept clean and tidy
• Ensure the kitchen Colleagues have the dishes/silverware required and guests have clean dishes
• Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
• Follow Chemicals measurement implemented by MSDS file
• Involve in placing materials orders for dishwashing and washroom utilities
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure stocks of plate ware available in line sections
• Ensure clean and safe plate ware & utensils Food Safety & hygiene
• Ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to
• Observe guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of Health and Safety requirements
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
• Maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards
• Complete safety training and certifications
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• Physically able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
• Basic English communication
