WSP is currently searching for an accomplished and experienced professional to join our team as a Mechanical Inspector.
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Conduct analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.Participate in prototyping and testing activities to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts, analysis results, and project updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers from other disciplines, to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and other components.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during the design and development process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering through self-study and participation in training programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and specifications, as well as adherence to quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
- 05 Years experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO) is desirable.
- Certification in mechanical inspection or quality assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
