Responsibility
1. Data Collection & Reporting:
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales, inventory, and margin data for specific product categories.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to category performance.
2. Performance Analysis:
- Analyze category-wise sales trends, product performance, pricing, and stock movements.
- Identify slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs and recommend corrective actions.
3. Forecasting & Planning Support:
- Assist in demand forecasting and stock planning by providing accurate data insights.
- Collaborate with the buying/merchandising team to plan stock replenishment.
4. Dashboard Management:
- Create and maintain dashboards for category performance monitoring using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
5. Coordination:
- Work closely with category managers, store operations, and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Act as a bridge between IT and business teams for MIS automation or improvements.
6. Pricing & Promotion Support:
- Support pricing analysis and promotional effectiveness tracking.
- Provide insights on margin impact and customer behavior during promotions.
7. Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Gather market intelligence and assist in benchmarking category performance against competitors.
8. Process Improvement:
Identify gaps in current reporting and suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
