We are looking for Ophthalmology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment to assess vision and diagnose eye conditions.
- Diagnose and manage disorders such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and refractive errors.
- Prescribe corrective lenses (eyeglasses or contact lenses) or recommend treatments.
- Perform minor and major ophthalmic procedures or surgeries (if licensed).
- Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories in compliance with clinical protocols.
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and ensure the use of modern technologies and best practices.
- Comply with UAE medical regulations and maintain valid professional licensing.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Ophthalmology (MD/MS, DO, or equivalent).
- Valid DHA/HAAD/MOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Proven experience (3–5 years preferred) in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Skilled in diagnostic equipment such as slit lamp, retinoscope, tonometer, OCT, and fundus camera.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
