Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and detail-driven Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French pastry techniques, with hands-on experience in making laminated doughs, elegant plated desserts, and refined baked goods.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality pastries, viennoiserie, and plated desserts with consistency and precision
- Handle lamination, proofing, shaping, and baking of croissants and similar pastries
- Support daily mise en place and ensure smooth pastry production
- Assist in developing and presenting seasonal dessert offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Requirements:
- Pastry experience in a bakery, restaurant, or hotel setting
- Strong skills in French pastry techniques
- Excellent attention to detail, presentation, and consistency
- Team player with a good attitude and professional work ethic
- Ability to work morning shifts and maintain production schedules
