Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef specializing in cakes, muffins, croissants, and donuts to join our dynamic culinary team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in luxury hotels, bakeries, or high-end patisseries within the UAE, with a deep understanding of local tastes and international pastry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries including cakes, muffins, croissants, and donuts, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Develop and innovate new pastry recipes and presentations tailored to the UAE market.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with UAE food regulations.
- Manage pastry inventory, control costs, and minimize wastage.
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff, ensuring teamwork and skill development.
- Collaborate with the culinary and management teams to plan menus and special pastry offerings for events and promotions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in pastry arts and incorporate them into the product range.
- Ensure timely delivery and presentation of pastries for service.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Pastry Chef in the UAE (minimum 3-5 years).
- Expertise in baking and decorating cakes, muffins, croissants, and donuts.
- Knowledge of local and international pastry trends and flavors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in the UAE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
