1. Enter new and refill prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy database/system.
2. Verify patient and insurance information for accuracy and completeness.
3. Ensure all prescription data complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Maintain accurate records of medications and inventory details.
5. Work closely with pharmacists and technicians to clarify unclear prescriptions.
6. Process billing and submit insurance claims through pharmacy software.
7. Resolve data entry errors and communicate issues with the appropriate team.
8. Handle phone calls from patients, physicians, and insurance providers professionally.
9. Support inventory management by logging medication receipts and usage

1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or related field is a plus.
2. Previous experience in a pharmacy or medical office preferred. 
3. Knowledge of computer excel and data entry work.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and handle busy periods
