Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains. Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings. Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks. Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications. Study building plan and inspect structure in order plan installations. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle. Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Mechanical and Technical skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of repair and maintenance of domestic hot/cold water systems, chilled water systems, storm and sanitary sewerage systems, landscape irrigation water system, swimming pools and fountains

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
· Carries out repairs and maintenance of domestic hot/cold water system, cooling water systems, storm and sanitary sewer system, irrigation and fountain water systems and swimming pools.
· Attends to repairs or replacement of all bathroom/toilet fixtures in guestrooms, public areas toilets and back of the house areas.
· Clearing sewage and storm water line blockages using available equipment or other means as required.
· To attend to maintenance request.
· To carry out quality repairs and maintenance works as directed.
· To complete work orders, PPM’s and minor enhancements (after approval) as directed.
· To ensure the maintenance upkeep, movement, disposal and addition of assets is updated as required
· To select correct materials from engineering store.
· To organise work in a skilled and professional manner and ensure adequate signage and barriers are used as required.
· To ensure safe working condition for yourself and your colleagues and report to senior colleagues any unsafe working conditions.
· To ensure that work areas are left in a safe working condition
· Work in own initiative without full supervision or direction.
· Request support and direction as needed.
· Request support, direction and assistance as needed or required by situation and work.
· To ensure that they have refresh training every 6 months on the use of MEWPS, PPE and electrical safety
· To assist other technician as required.
· Be familiar and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.
· To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
