As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (RIHSS), you will be part of the Center for Public Opinion Polls, contributing to research projects that inform and shape public discourse and policy. You are expected to hold a PhD from a reputable institution and possess a strong academic background in social sciences, survey research, or related fields, with particular expertise in data analysis, public opinion measurement, and policy development. You will be responsible for building and enhancing the capacity and capability of the Center for Public Opinion Polls Team, collecting and analyzing data, and writing technical reports. In addition, you will contribute to the development of on-site measurement scales and indicators and play a key role in designing and developing organizational and societal policies and strategies. Your role will be essential in advancing empirical research that supports evidence-based decision-making in both governmental and societal contexts.
- Carrying out studies and surveys and collecting data for various research projects as well as analyzing them

Studying, in collaboration with relevant family institutions, the needs of groups such as the elderly, parents, mothers, adolescents, people of determination, and the youth, in addition to societal and economic issues

Building comprehensive statistical indicators that relate to societal issues in accordance with local, regional and international standards
- Adapting scientific international tests and measurements to the local UAE environment

Training research assistants and students, especially graduates, on how to conduct relevant research
- The ability to manage a project

Communication and writing skills in English and Arabic
- PhD in Sociology, Political Science or a related field public opinion, Research methods
- Experience in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and presenting them scientifically
