We are looking for a skilled Powder Coating Technician to lead finishing processes for custom architectural products. You must have a strong eye for quality and technical knowledge of powder coating standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sand, and prepare metal surfaces before coating.
- Mask components to protect non-coated areas.
- Apply powder coating using spray guns and electrostatic equipment.
- Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature/time settings.
- Inspect coated items for defects, coverage, and finish quality.
- Perform minor assembly and fitting of coated parts.
- Rework or touch up items as needed to meet standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and work area.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of coating materials.
