Procurement Assistant – Automobile Industry (Female Only)

Job Summary:
Procurement Assistants support the purchasing and supply chain processes within an organization. Help with tasks such as sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Assist and support the Manager in administrative and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the procurement process for materials, supplies, and services.
- Analyzing invoices to ensure accurate product delivery and pricing.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information.
- Assisting in negotiation of contracts and procurement terms with suppliers.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
- Monitoring current inventory and ordering supplies.
- Scheduling deliveries to ensure sufficient materials or equipment.
- Communicating with vendors to obtain pricing quotes, invoices, and delivery details.
- Delivering monthly reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement systems.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and components, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English, Hindi.
