Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced and results- driven Production Supervisor at GET Fabrication located in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates.
Job Purpose:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication process from raw material handling to final product delivery, estimating, managing production schedules, ensuring that production goals are met safely, efficiently, within budget and to the highest quality standards
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Management: Develop, implement, Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules and priorities. Coordinate workflows, job progress and processes to meet customer demands and project deadlines.
- Workshop Oversight: Supervise workshop activities to ensure quality, safety and efficiency. Allocate resources and manpower and ensure jobs are executed per drawing, specification, welding and testing procedures.
- Client & sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and client with technical, commercial and delivery deadlines. Analyze project blueprints, technical drawings, estimations and specifications to forecast production timelines.
- Team Leadership & Development: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and motivate a large and diverse team.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce stringent quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process to ensure all products meet company, client, and industry specifications.
- Cost & Resource Management: Monitor production costs against estimates, identify variances, and implement corrective actions and continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring a safe working environment, enforcing all safety regulations, and implementing best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives for process improvements to enhance productivity, increase efficiency, reduce waste (Lean Manufacturing principles), and improve quality.
- Reporting & Accountability: Maintain job order, sheets, project tracking, production reports, key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, cost variance, on-time delivery, and quality metrics.
- Inventory & Materials: Oversee the management of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods to prevent shortages and excesses.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in steel fabrication industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and other fabrication processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Experience with quality control process and procedures. Good knowledge with MS Excel, Job tracking sheets, CAD, SolidWorks, ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Working Conditions
- This position will require working in both an office and a factory floor environment.
- May be required to work extended hours as needed to meet production deadlines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
