Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee daily production activities in our chocolate manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations, enforce quality and safety standards, and lead a team of production workers to meet daily targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production line operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP).
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize waste.
- Train, coach, and motivate production workers to achieve high performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve any equipment or quality issues.
- Monitor production KPIs and ensure timely achievement of daily/weekly targets.
- Maintain accurate production reports and shift documentation.
- Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Enforce health & safety standards across the production floor.
- Support new product launches and assist R&D or QA departments as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in chocolate manufacturing.(spreadable cream, chocolate fillings, real chocolate and compound chocolate )
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of chocolate production processes using ball mill machines.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team management and problem-solving abilities.
- Language: Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Other: Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, or other food safety systems.
Preferred Qualities:
- Ability to work under pressure and in shift-based operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and ability to lead by example.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, production systems/ERP knowledge is a plus).
