Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically adept Project Coordinator – Façade to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality façade projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess strong design coordination skills, project management capabilities, and a solid understanding of façade systems and construction practices in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to fully understand project objectives and translate them into actionable plans.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct detailed technical assessments and feasibility studies to recommend the most suitable façade systems for each project.
- Design Proposal Development: Create schematic drawings, technical specifications, and material selections aligned with aesthetic, functional, and budgetary goals.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate smooth project execution by coordinating with internal design, engineering, and procurement teams, as well as external contractors and consultants.
- Documentation Supervision: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive construction documents, including shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation guidelines.
- Site Oversight: Perform regular on-site inspections to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical guidance to installation teams during the construction and handover phases.
- Schedule & Budget Management: Track project timelines, control costs, and manage resources effectively to meet milestones and deliverables.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors to address technical queries and ensure client satisfaction.
- Innovation & Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design and execution processes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in façade engineering with hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and execution of complex façade systems.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and related engineering/design software.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and handle project risks proactively.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Solid understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly across teams.
- Sustainability: Familiarity with green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Estidama) and sustainable design practices is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the UAE for site visits and coordination meetings as required.
