As a Purchasing Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Procurement Process Management: Coordinating with suppliers and vendors for the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring all items meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local and international suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Market Research and Sourcing: Continuously researching and identifying potential suppliers and products in the UAE market to ensure the best value for the company’s projects.
- Order Management: Preparing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely arrival at construction sites.
- Inventory Management: Collaborating with site teams to monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements, preventing material shortages or overstock.
- Cost Control and Budget Adherence: Working closely with project teams to ensure that purchases align with project budgets and financial targets, and preparing reports on expenditure.
- Compliance with UAE Regulations: Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with UAE laws, including import/export regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance, and preparing periodic reports for management review.
