We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QS Draftsman with a strong background in quantity surveying, design drafting, and 3D modeling. The ideal candidate must be proficient in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Plan swift and other relevant software, capable of producing high-quality technical drawings, quantity take-offs, and visual presentations to support architectural and engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and AutoCAD.
- Interpret architectural and MEP plans for quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
- Develop and revise detailed shop drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and as-built drawings.
- Assist QS and engineers in material calculations and costing based on plans and site inputs.
- Support the design team with technical drafting, layout planning, and concept visualization.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site staff to ensure design accuracy.
- Conduct site measurements when necessary to confirm drawing details.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure documentation control.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Draftsman/QS Draftsman in the construction or fit-out industry.
- Proficient in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, and estimation techniques.
- Ability to visualize concepts and produce photorealistic 3D renderings is a plus.
- Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
Skills:
- Knowledge of UAE building codes and standards is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
