Brief Job Description:
This position will be responsible for ensuring samples setting up test and conducting the tests and preparing the reports
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:
General
- Ensuring OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001 in lab (and within company)
- Ensuring EMS requirements as per ISO 14001 OHSMS in lab (and within company)
- Ensuring QMS requirements as per ISO 9001 in lab (and within company)
- Ensuring machines calibration, safety checks in Lab.
- Machine & Tools inventory management in Lab
- Ensuring 5S in the Test Lab at all times
- Prompt feedback and corrections of any deviations.
- Manpower management
- Document management- Proper storage of Soft and Hard copy documents
- Strict adherence to Vertiv Gulf’s Equal opportunity, cultural diversity, fair treatment and prevention of harassment & discrimination policies.
- Proactive, Punctual, attitude of ‘getting things done’
Testing
- Knowledge in IEC 61439 -1&6, UL 857, 60529 standards
- Test plan creation and update daily
- Strict adherence to test Scheduling
- Test Sample follow up
- Conducting various testing systematically with strict compliance to SOP
Report Preparation
- Preparing various test reports with utmost care and accuracy
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years of experience in Power electronics products/ module testing is required
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
Coordinate with production and product testing of new and existing product line.
Familiarity to IEC and UL Standards is an advantage
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
To be working hot and humid situation
Time Travel Needed:
10 %
