Job Description
The Regional Account Director (RAD) is responsible for all commercial activities associated with their nominated Strategic Global and Expansion Accounts (Accounts) and accountable for achieving the global target set by NIQ-GfK. The RAD closely collaborates with other NIQ-GfK sales representatives to reach these financial targets for their Accounts. Therefore, the RAD will proactively align with the Global Head of Accounts, Region and Local Sales leaders and Vertical leaders to ensure the business has a clear understanding of revenue forecasts, major opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve regional sales target and manage accounts with new and existing regional headquartered clients
- Strategize the business selling approach with focus on the Tech & Durables industry
- Identify and develop the growth opportunity values using GfK tracking data based on the client needs
- Analyze and present our data and findings in order to create a need to increase selling opportunities to existing and potential clients
- Proactively lead and support regional and local pitches where necessary to ensure powerful proposals and convincing presentations are delivered regionally and globally at the main HQ.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key decisionmakers within existing and potential clients
- Build and maintain C-suite level engagement to increase upsell opportunities
- Develop and maintain access to senior stakeholders with regional budget sign-off is a key success factor
- Identify potential problems and propose pro-active solutions to meet client needs
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Korean and English.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business/Market Research/Statistics
- Minimum of 5 years in the research industry, preferably within the technical consumer goods industry
- Strong track record in business development in a highly complex data environment and consultancy
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand markets, methodologies and techniques
- Good organiser with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Ability to maintain a positive, motivational, “get things done” attitude, especially when faced with difficult circumstances
- Excellent sales/negotiation skills and a hunger to develop new business
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills (internal, external, and cross-cultural)
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal and presentation skill
- Business oriented skill, Excellent track record in business development
- Able to communicate effectively wih all levels.
