Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Revit Façade Designer with hands-on experience in façade design and engineering, specifically within the UAE construction landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a deep understanding of façade systems, architectural detailing, and local building regulations.
You will collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver innovative, sustainable, and code-compliant façade solutions across various project types.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive façade designs using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and alignment with architectural and engineering specifications.
- Create and manage 3D BIM models, shop drawings, fabrication details, and construction documentation for systems such as curtain walls, cladding, aluminum, and glazing.
- Coordinate effectively with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to ensure integrated, clash-free design output.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including material specifications, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to verify design implementation, address technical challenges, and maintain quality standards.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, local authority requirements, and sustainability regulations.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective and performance-driven design alternatives.
- Maintain accurate and organized project records, drawings, and documentation in accordance with company protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of UAE-based experience in façade design.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, and other BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of façade systems including curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glass, stone, and composite façades.
- Familiarity with UAE municipal codes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.).
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with precision.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
