Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Implementing corrective actions to eliminate or control risks.
- Preparing and delivering safety induction and training for workers.
- Investigating incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and preparing detailed reports.
- Ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinating with management, contractors, and workers to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintaining all safety records, permits, and compliance documents.
