Job description
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, company policies, and industry best practices on all interior fit-out sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols tailored to fit-out project requirements.
- Lead incident/accident investigations, near misses & prepare reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct HSE induction and training sessions for staff, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Maintain HSE documentation in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 standards and support audits and certifications.
- Monitor and manage the implementation of control measures to mitigate risk and improve workplace safety culture.
- Liaise with project managers and subcontractors to ensure safety protocols are integrated into the project execution plans.
- Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports to management.
Required Qualifications:
- Certifications:
- NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) – Mandatory
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent – Mandatory
- OSHAD-SF Certification - Optional.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 5-6 yrs of experience in HSE in UAE – Interior Fit out experience is a must.
- UAE Driving license with Car is a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven knowledge of local HSE laws and interior fit-out safety requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project sites within UAE.
- Proficiency in report writing and MS Office tools.
