Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs at MEP construction sites.
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE regulations.
Conduct site inspections for hazards and unsafe practices; implement corrective actions.
Deliver safety induction and regular training to workers.
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports.
Ensure proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain comprehensive safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years experience as a safety officer (preferably in MEP or construction).
Diploma or degree in Safety Management or relevant field.
NEBOSH/IOSH certification is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, emergency response, and reporting protocols.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
