A Sales Manager in the IT industry with UAE experience needs to possess a strong understanding of the local market, proven sales track record, and experience in managing teams and partners. They should also be proficient in developing and executing sales strategies, generating revenue, and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Partner Management: Manage and optimize relationships with resellers and partners, fostering growth and revenue generation.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Negotiation and Closing: Possess strong negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and maximize revenue.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the IT industry.
- UAE Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UAE market landscape, including local regulations, business practices, and cultural nuances.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading and managing sales teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Partner Management Experience: Experience in managing and developing relationships with resellers and partners.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Negotiation and Closing Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and maximize revenue.
- Fluent in English: Proficiency in English is essential for communication with clients and colleagues.
- Arabic Language Skills (Optional): Arabic language skills can be an advantage, particularly in certain segments of the market.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the IT industry within the UAE
- Strong network of enterprise and government clients is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of IT products and services (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, software, networking, hardware, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
- UAE driving license preferred.
