Job Purpose:
To lead and oversee the overall security operations of the company with professionalism, discipline, and precision. The Security Manager will ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and premises through proactive planning, strategic execution, and a high level of vigilance. This role requires someone with exceptional command over English communication, strong leadership qualities, and a personality that reflects authority, reliability, and integrity — ideally with a military or law enforcement background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry best practices and company standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise internal and outsourced security personnel, ensuring strict adherence to duty, discipline, and uniform standards.
- Monitor daily security operations, including patrols, surveillance, access control, visitor management, and incident response.
- Maintain a high-security presence across the facility while demonstrating approachability and leadership.
- Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and violations, and submit detailed reports with corrective action plans.
- Ensure all security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms, etc.) are fully functional and regularly inspected.
- Prepare and conduct regular security audits, drills (including fire and evacuation), and threat assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of all movements, including visitors, contractors, vehicles, gate passes, and shift reports.
- Provide security briefings and awareness training to staff and ensure everyone is aligned with safety protocols.
- Manage security during special events, high-profile visits, or emergency situations with command and control.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a security management or supervisory role, preferably in a corporate, manufacturing, or warehouse setup.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; confident in reporting, briefing, and communicating with senior management and external authorities.
- Strong leadership and crisis management abilities with a disciplined and professional personality.
- Proficiency in handling security systems, surveillance equipment, and incident reporting tools.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make clear decisions in emergency scenarios.
- Military or ex-police background highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or related field.
- Certified training in First Aid, Fire Safety, Emergency Response, or Crisis Management.
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws and local safety regulations.
