Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and visualize fashion concepts and translate them into CAD-based designs.
- Stay current with emerging fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and overall market dynamics.
- Design and develop collections based on seasonal planning, aligned with brand vision and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with buyers, planners, and forecasters to develop products that meet the design brief.
- Liaise with buying and planning teams to ensure product designs align with customer needs, target market, and price points.
- Understand garment design from a technical perspective, ensuring feasibility for production.
- Maintain proficiency in industry-standard design software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to design development.
Desired Experience:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in fashion design, preferably within a retail or apparel brand environment.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
