The key objectives for this role are:
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and functional testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Verify that installations comply with technical specifications, safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues during commissioning to guarantee optimal system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of the commissioning process, including reports and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to align on project objectives and deadlines.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develops and delivers essential engineering documents, including philosophies, reports, specifications, data sheets, and technical requisitions.
- Performs electrical commissioning tasks aligned with company practices, procedures, and project requirements.
- Applies industry-standard methods to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues, implementing innovative solutions when necessary.
- Collaborates with drafters, technicians, and engineering teams to drive project completion efficiently.
- Coordinates with other engineering disciplines and operating units, ensuring seamless integration of commissioning activities.
- Leads and executes electrical commissioning procedures, verifying system integrity and operational readiness.
- Reviews and familiarizes with scope of work, technical drawings, specifications, and standards related to commissioning and handover processes.
- Ensures strict compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Takes full responsibility for commissioning activities, ensuring they adhere to procedural, safety, and project-specific requirements.

Expected:
- Degree in engineering discipline, alternatively, tertiary level education combined with suitable industry experience can be used to demonstrate equivalence
- Minimum 10 years in a similar role
- Typically requires two(2) to four(4) years of progressively more responsible pertinent experience.
- Preferably with onshore upstream experience with renowned EPC companies that worked with ADNOC.
- Ability to create functional and cost-effective designs that meet specification and requirements with supervision
- Some capability for conceptualizing designs
- Proficient in use of design software and Database systems related to Engineering functions within their discipline
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline
- Able to apply academic theory in a practical context.
- Awareness of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
- Developing level of knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
- Developing level of competence in own discipline in the execution of assigned tasks.
- Developing level of knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area
- Working knowledge of specific procedures and applications
- Some understanding of internal economic factors affecting projects to which assigned
- Some knowledge of competitor capabilities
- Solid understanding of policies and procedures that apply to assignments
- Good level of general computer literacy and familiarity with relevant specialist engineering software
