About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Sale & Purchase (S&P) Shipping Broker with a strong focus on the demolition market. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the shipping industry, along with a robust network of contacts to effectively source, negotiate, and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full S&P process, with an emphasis on demolition transactions.
- Utilize your existing network to identify opportunities and match buyers with sellers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and vessel pricing.
- Liaise with shipowners, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Negotiate terms and contracts, ensuring all deals are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a strong deal pipeline and ensure seamless execution from inquiry to closing.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in Sale & Purchase (preferably with demolition focus).
- A solid rolodex of industry contacts—shipowners, buyers, shipyards, and cash buyers.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of closing successful deals.
- In-depth knowledge of vessel lifecycle, market trends, and international shipping regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
