- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene:Stewards are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas, including kitchens, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Assisting with food and beverage service:This includes tasks like setting tables, serving water, clearing dishes, and stocking service stations.
- Managing supplies:Stewards monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items.
- Supporting other staff:They assist kitchen staff with food preparation, dishwashing, and other tasks.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction:Stewards may assist guests with inquiries, provide menus, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintaining safety and security:They ensure safety procedures are followed and may assist with crowd control at events.
- Inventory management:In some roles, stewards may be responsible for managing and tracking inventory of supplies.
