- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Assist in unloading, checking, and moving incoming materials and supplies.
- Help in arranging and stacking materials properly in the store/warehouse.
- Support in issuing materials as per requisitions under the guidance of the Store Keeper.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the store/warehouse.
- Assist in labeling, tagging, and identifying stock for easy access.
- Help in conducting stock counts and reporting discrepancies to the Store Keeper.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Follow safety guidelines while lifting, moving, and storing goods.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Store Keeper or Supervisor
Qualifications & Skills
- High school education or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in store/warehouse assistance is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of inventory handling.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
