Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage site inventory, handle material receipts and issues, and ensure efficient storage and stock control. The Store Keeper will play a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting construction site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and tools at the site.
- Verify quantities, quality, and documentation of deliveries against purchase orders.
- Organize, label, and store materials systematically to ensure easy retrieval.
- Maintain up-to-date stock records (manual and/or digital) for all materials, tools, and consumables.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requisitions and record transactions accurately.
- Monitor and report stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely material supply.
- Ensure proper handling, preservation, and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile with records.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma in storekeeping, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials and tools is desirable.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software is a plus.
- Physically fit and able to lift materials as required.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- High attention to detail and integrity.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily site-based; may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- May be required to work extended hours depending on project needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
