Storekeeper – Portacabin Factory

Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store all raw materials, tools, and components used in portacabin manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems.
- Issue materials to production teams based on work orders or requisitions.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Ensure materials are stored properly and safely to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store/warehouse.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor expiry dates and material shelf life where applicable.
- Comply with health and safety standards inside the store.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a storekeeper in a construction or prefab/portacabin industry.
- Familiarity with building materials, tools, and portacabin components.
- Basic knowledge of inventory software (Excel, ERP, etc.).
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus).
- Physically fit to manage lifting and movement of materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
