ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Perform document control using a drawing management or information system to ensure that completed and working drawings are properly registered and filed with the Plan Room and issued to/posted at the work site
· Provide detailed drawings of structural components and their connections of steel and other structural materials
· Draft plans and detailed drawings for structural concrete, steel structures, and installations for various construction projects
· Will utilize various drafting and CAD techniques to produce drawings in 2-D while working in a 3-D design model environment for project requirements
· Responsible for setting up and developing BIM models
· Assist project team with revising drawings to reflect as-built conditions
· Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure that they conform to design concepts
· Working under instruction to complete designs drawings as required, contributing to structural steel projects
· Will apply manual and computerized drafting methods with a working knowledge of the terms and procedures
· Prepare civil/structural plans, elevations, and sections to represent the civil/structural design construction layout
· Checks design for consistency, safety, and operability and maintenance requirements before submitting to checking
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
· Industry experience on civil and structural steel projects (desirable)
· Associate Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification
· High standard of competency in Revit
· Developed design experience as it applies to building
· Experience in use of other design software packages including AutoCAD
· A good team focus and the ability to positively influence team members
· Minimum of 5 years CAD design, Revit and Revizto in Structural Engineering
· Explaining technical concepts to clients during meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, or other team members

· Display a high degree of professionalism and integrity
· Excellent communication skills to deal with Managers and employees on matters of a confidential or sensitive nature
· Good organizational and time management skills

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
