About the Role
As Studio Community & Marketing, you are the connector, the voice, and the soul of our design practice. You weave together the creative energy of the studio, the vibrancy of our community, and the power of storytelling to share what we do—and why it matters.
This role lives at the intersection of studio culture, community activation, and brand visibility. You’re responsible for shaping how our space feels, how our stories are told, and how our ecosystem grows—both locally in the UAE/MENA region and globally through networks and collaborations.
Main Responsibilities
Studio Culture & Space Activation
- Curate and produce high-touch experiences inside the space (events, rituals, exhibitions, lunches, guest sessions)
- Animate the studio with intention, ensuring it remains a welcoming, inspiring place for creatives, clients, and collaborators Collaborate with design and architecture teams to ensure activations reflect our ethos and spatial design language
Community Building & Engagement
- Act as host and connector — welcoming newcomers, nurturing relationships, and building a sense of belonging
- Grow our creative ecosystem through outreach and partnerships across design, culture, education, and civic sectors
- Co-create programs with community members and residents to bring their voices into the spotlight Help develop and manage revenue-generating collaborations, influencer partnerships, and ticketed or sponsored events
Marketing, Storytelling & Brand Evangelism
- Lead storytelling for our studio and projects: from community moments to client impact
- Collaborate with the Comms & Impact team to create sharp, human-centered content (social, newsletters, features, photo essays, reels)
- Ensure the studio’s digital and physical presence reflects its creativity, values, and point of view
- Represent the studio at events, conferences, and online—evangelizing our work and worldview
Requirements
Requirements:
- A natural storyteller who thinks in moments, not just messages
- A warm, people-first connector with experience in creative communities
- Fluent in the rhythms of a design or innovation studio\
- Arabic speaking a plus+
- Obsessed with placemaking, branding, and cultural relevance
- Equal parts thoughtful host, cultural producer, and comms strategist
- Experienced in the UAE and broader MENA creative and cultural landscape
- Skilled in marketing development and content strategy
- Deeply familiar with the design industry and its ecosystem of practitioners, platforms, and partners
