We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with a strong background in the design coordination, execution, and delivery of high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise and leadership in managing architectural, ID, and landscape works across large-scale, vertical developments—from concept to handover—while ensuring seamless integration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all technical aspects of high-rise developments, overseeing architectural, interior design, and landscaping packages.
- Ensure comprehensive coordination across engineering, contract management, and procurement to support high-rise construction execution.
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements and high-rise building codes.
- Resolve site-based technical issues swiftly, issuing RFIs, CVIs, and variations where needed while maintaining alignment with design intent.
- Conduct regular technical risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies specific to vertical construction challenges.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure clear communication and alignment on all technical fronts.
- Monitor quality control and provide guidance on fabrication issues, material compatibility, and structural integration in tall structures.
- Conduct and lead technical meetings, ensuring design documentation and implementation stay aligned with project timelines and regulatory approvals.
- Manage permitting and authority coordination specifically required for high-rise buildings (e.g., fire safety, vertical transportation systems, façade approvals).
- Maintain a central point of technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring continuity and clarity in execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of proven technical and project execution experience, with a strong focus on high-rise and superstructure developments.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing the full lifecycle of vertical projects from concept to completion.
- In-depth understanding of structural coordination, vertical circulation systems, façade engineering, and high-rise authority approval processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and coordination tools.
Knowledge of UAE/GCC codes, regulations, and authority procedures specific to tall buildings is essential
