POSITION SUMMARY
- Possess a complete knowledge of washing, spotting, starching, and pressing techniques
- Organize movement of dirty and clean Uniform, Linen and laundry
- Ensure all damaged linen are sent to the discarding
- Control and record chemical consumption and reorder as required
- Assist in maintaining records of stock and equipment
- Supervise all employees with the Laundry Production Department
- Ensure daily production records for linen are maintained
- Ensures that regular preventive maintenance is carried out and reduce downtime with proper coordination with the maintenance department
- Ensure that all items laundered within the hotel’s laundry are finished to the highest standard achievable and returned to the staff in immaculate condition
- Ensures regular inventory of Uniforms, Linens are conducted quarterly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
