YOUR IMPACT ___________

Parfums Christian Dior Orient is looking for a Visual Merchandising Executive to join the Middle East regional team, based in Dubai. The scope covers 49 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and India regions with a very rich and diverse retail landscape, including boutiques, department stores and chain stores.

Reporting to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager within the Marketing Department, the VM Executive will ensure – through strong collaboration with all stakeholders – that the Maison image across the region is not only consistent but meets the highest standards.

Job responsibilities

YOUR MISSION ____________

Your role requires efficient communication and project management. Your main assignments will be focused on:

Visual Merchandising

  • Manage the communication of all new relevant material for each up-coming campaign, ensuring all information follows our regional strategy and marketing plan, and that it is shared with all local teams in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the procurement, management, and distribution of key Visual Merchandising assets, including visuals, movies & content creation materials.
  • Create and update relevant planograms and VM simulations in line with the Maison launches and priorities.
  • Lead data collection, tracking and organization of the latest information on all our point of sales for the regional database.
  • Handle local production of update elements when needed, from brief to installation snags report and follow-up.
  • Provide guidance, support, and directions to the local teams in their update’s implementations and roll-outs, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the execution is aligned with the Maison strategy and standards.

Openings

  • Through close collaboration with markets, Architecture, Marketing, Commercial and Central teams, create the VM book and POSM needs list for each allocated opening project, either permanent or temporary.
  • Handle the local production of all VM elements, ensuring quality is met and deadlines are respected. Coordinate supplier, forwarder and local teams when shipment is involved.
  • With the help of the supply team, ensure all POSMs elements are in stock and will reach the concerned markets as per desired date.
  • Supervise and participate to the installation, report any snags and follow-up on the full completion of the project to be done in a timeline manner.

Forecasting, Budgeting & POSM Management

  • Manage the novelty and basic forecasts for the dedicated axes, creating regional recommendations, optimizing the costs and ensuring quantities are aligned with the needs.
  • Through strong cooperation with Marketing team, oversee the VM POSM budget for each campaign, ensuring budget constraints are respected and investments are aligned with the Maison strategy.
  • Follow-up and ensure that all the forecasted elements reach the markets on-time to guarantee the VM deployment as per Marketing plan and agreed launch date.
  • Support the markets on any issue related to forecasted POSM, alert and report to concerned teams either regional or central.
  • Build, monitor and manage the campaigns’ assets budget.

Management & Training

  • Lead, support and develop the Intern on his/her scope

Develop and deliver training programs for the local teams on VM principles and brand standards – Educate and sensibilize on the key role of VM in the business strategy and elevate the Maison’s image across the region.

Profile

WHO YOU ARE _________

  • 3+ years’ VM experience, preferably within the beauty and cosmetics industry.
  • Team player with strong communication skills, solution oriented and with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to read merchandising guidelines and technical drawings.
  • Structured with excellent attention to detail and a creative eye.
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Suite is a plus.
