Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations in our warehouse, specifically handling optical products such as frames, lenses, accessories, and related stock. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching optical goods while maintaining accuracy and cleanliness in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of optical frames, lenses, and accessories
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery to retail outlets or clients
- Maintain proper labeling and storage of inventory to ensure easy retrieval
- Assist in stock counts, inventory updates, and reporting discrepancies
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Support logistics and delivery coordination as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or stockroom experience (optical industry preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of optical products is an advantage
- Ability to lift and move packages safely
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with inventory systems or basic computer use
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
