Your day to day

Responsible to ensure all files and records of the Engineering Department are well kept and updated. Interests in confidentiality are well maintained. Responsible to handle and operate Engineering Stores. • Reports to the Chief Engineer. • Ensures that all departmental files and records are in systematic order. • Encodes all reports that are required by the Chief Engineer. • Keeps the daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and monitory work reports of the department and reminds the /Maintenance Engineer/Duty Engineer/Health & Safety Officer/Supervisors/and the staff on their priorities. • Reminds the CE on his priorities and requirements on the daily basis. • Records and encodes Minutes of Meeting of the department. • Collects in a daily basis all memos, work orders and instructions from the Executive Office and other departments as well. • Coordinates and issues/compiles preventive maintenance schedules as per hotel requirements through QEMS. • Observes the provisions of the relevant policies and procedures (POMEC) for the hotel. • Ensures that Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedures and all relevant health, safety environmental legislation are observed. • Contributes to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. • Accountable for maintaining and well arrange all records, documentation and files of Engineering Department. • Contributes to the various CSR / Sustainability programs and to the meeting of business objectives. • Prepares FF&E, Operational Budget and Utility Budget and make the necessary follow up. • Responsible for maintaining all AMC Calendars, Risk management, FLS Records, All Government Compliances including online portals from DTCM and DM. • Maintains and tracks all 3rd party inspections. • Ensures Engineering Stores are well maintained and monthly inventories are being done with zero deviations, maintains PAR and Running Stock efficiently • Maintains the stock of running items and makes sure that no Complaint / Work Requests/ or Equipment is out of order due to non-availability of material.

What we need from you

The ideal candidate must be a qualified engineer and must have 3 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 5* city hotel in Dubai and has strong capabilities in handling administrative tasks & organizing, detail-oriented and, with ability to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations. Also must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
