Combined, Sarood will represent 20 branches worldwide, with the group continually developing its brands through a series of refurbishments, menu overhauls, talent acquisition and digital transformation.

About the Role:

Your key duties will include:

  • Overlooking the whole recruitment process

  • To assist and lead where appropriate in the process of recruitment activities to ensure adequately staffed as per the workforce plan and colleagues meet standards and that they are conducted in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Post vacancies using the corporate online recruitment tool in line with set standard, screen and identify the potential candidates and conduct interview.

  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility.

  • Handle colleague inductions for New Joiner colleagues

  • Maintain and update Mercury team site.

  • Manage all leave submissions as well producing PH/LD reports.

  • Provide information to colleagues on company policies with regards to HR issues.

  • Provide opportunities for colleagues to discuss typical employment and personal issues to increase engagement and improve performance.

  • Responsible for colleague engagement events and recognition ceremonies, being innovative and creative.

  • Work as an HR Business Partner and establish meaningful business relationships with managers to understand their operation anticipate their HR challenges and find relevant solutions.

  • Follow up with the HR Service Centre team to ensure new colleagues have all new Emirates ID cards, Jumeirah ID and Medical Insurance ID’s cards.

  • Liaising with HODs/SBUs regarding internal transfers and track accordingly throughout the SSU/SBU.

  • Take responsibility for day to day colleague enquires.

  • Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum two year experience in a similar role.

  • Good comprehension of the English language.

  • Computer and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and able to deliver results to deadlines.

  • Accuracy & attention to detail.

  • Creativity (to be applied to presentation /poster design, notice boards design).
