Key Responsibilities:
- Install new air conditioning systems, including split units, central systems, and ductwork.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in AC units.
- Perform maintenance such as cleaning coils, changing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring proper system operation.
- Repair or replace defective parts (motors, compressors, thermostats, etc.).
- Test systems for proper functioning using specialized tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and customer information.
- Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and regulations.
- Provide estimates for repair or installation jobs.
- Communicate clearly with clients about issues, solutions, and maintenance practices.
