Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting experience and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and reconcile invoices and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
- Use Excel to maintain and analyze financial data.
- Assist in month-end closing and audit preparations.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments.
- Perform general clerical duties related to accounting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good command of English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and labor laws is a bonus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; accounting certification preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,700.00 per month

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
