We are looking for a dedicated Account Ledger Executive with at least 2 years of UAE experience to manage day-to-day financial ledger activities and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be familiar with UAE accounting practices, VAT regulations, and have hands-on experience with ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day ledger accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and financial records with internal accounts
Post journal entries and ensure accurate documentation of all financial transactions
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Monitor and manage petty cash and expense reports
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
Generate financial reports as required by management
Coordinate with auditors during audits and support financial statement preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a similar accounting or ledger role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems like SAP).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems and digital accounting tools.
- Knowledge of payroll and basic HR cost allocations is a plus.
- Bilingual (English and Arabic) is an advantage.
