Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll
- Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related documentation
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
- Ensure timely reporting of all financial information
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Preferred:
- Experience working in a project-led business environment (e.g., construction, design, consulting)
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and WPS payroll system
- Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus but not mandatory to have
