About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our gaming lounge and building rentals. The role involves handling UAE VAT submissions, tracking tenant rental payments, managing petty cash, and preparing regular reports for management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns on time.
- Maintain daily accounting records for the gaming lounge, including sales, expenses, and payroll.
- Track and reconcile building rental income from tenants.
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate documentation of small expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and profit & loss summaries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when required.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years accounting experience in UAE (hospitality, retail, or property experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Must be currently in UAE and able to join immediately.
