Position Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the clinic, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and providing critical support to the management team in decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
- Handle bank reconciliations and daily cash flow management
- Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Monitor inventory purchases, usage, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize financial efficiency
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus
