About the Role
EVS Electric Vehicle Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Sharjah branch. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, and the ability to manage end-to-end financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee-related payments.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
