Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience in contracting or construction companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, including handling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle VAT registration, filing, and compliance with FTA requirements
• File and manage Corporate Tax returns and ensure timely payments
• Maintain general ledger and oversee budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants when required
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a contracting or construction company
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax filing
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
